William C. Lentz, M.D.
Dr. Lentz is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine where he completed his residency in dermatology. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He founded and was president of Fort Wayne Dermatology PC from 1975 to 2003. Dr. Lentz is Regional Director of Melanoma & Skin Cancer Screening, Clinical Instructor and assistant professor of Dermatology at Indiana University School of Medicine, and a teaching fellow for the Fort Wayne Medical Education program. Dr. Lentz was mentioned in the 2005 edition of Business People Magazine as one of the top dermatologists in Northeast Indiana. He continues to practice dermatology at Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants, Inc. after they became owners of Fort Wayne Dermatology PC.

James R. Kyler, M.D.
Dr. Kyler is a graduate of the University of Illinois, and his residency was in dermatology at the University of Arkansas. He is board certified from the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Kyler is a faculty associate at Saint Francis College in Fort Wayne. He is a member of the Indiana State Dermatology Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Society, and Fort Wayne Medical Society. He has been practicing dermatology at Fort Wayne Dermatology PC since 1989 and became vice president/co-owner of Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants, Inc. in 2003 where he still practices dermatology.

Diane M. Hentz, M.D.
Dr. Hentz is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin where she completed her residency in dermatology. She was Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1987 to 1990 where she was also in private practice. Dr. Hentz is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and has volunteered her services in Ecuador, the Appalachians, and Japan. Dr. Hentz started practicing dermatology at Fort Wayne Dermatology PC in 1990 and became co-owner of Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants, Inc. in 2003 where she continues to practice dermatology.

Edward C. Sarkisian, M.D.
Dr. Sarkisian is a graduate of University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University Hospital in Cincinnati. He is board certified from the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Sarkisian was Chief of the Dermatology Section at March Air Force Base in California, 74th Medical Operations Squadron at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio, and was Assistant Professor of Dermatology from 1994 to 1997 at Wright State University and a Consultant in Dermatology at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. Dr. Sarkisian practiced dermatology at Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, Indiana from 1997 to 2000. He started practicing dermatology at Fort Wayne Dermatology PC in 2000 and became president/co-owner of Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants, Inc. in 2003 and is still practicing dermatology.

Thomas W. McGovern, M.D.
Dr. McGovern grew up in the town of Escanaba in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and obtained a biology degree from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He graduated from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota and entered the United States Army for eight years. While in the Army, he worked in defensive biological warfare research at Fort Detrick, Maryland, completed a dermatology residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado and ran the dermatology clinic at Fort Riley, Kansas for two years. After his honorable discharge, he traveled to New Haven, Connecticut where he performed a one-year fellowship in Mohs and Advanced Dermatologic Surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine.
Mohs surgery provides the highest cure rate while removing the least amount of normal skin for the most common skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma). As of January 2008, he has performed Mohs surgery on over 6500 skin cancers located primarily on the face. He repairs a significant majority of the defects in the office, while the remainder of wounds heal on their own or are repaired by colleagues in plastic surgery.
Dr. McGovern has written numerous book chapters, articles, and editorials and has given oral presentations on various aspects of skin disease. His special interests are the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and botanical dermatology. Dr. McGovern is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and has practiced dermatology and Mohs surgery at Fort Wayne Dermatology PC since 2000 and became a co-owner of Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants, Inc. in 2003. He lives in Fort Wayne with his wife Sally and their seven children. His hobbies include piano playing, Tae Kwan Do, and reading.

Jenn ifer L. Hobbs, M.D.
Dr. Hobbs is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She is board certified from the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Hobbs joined Fort Wayne Dermatology in 2001 and became co-owner in 2003. Her areas of interest include laser treatments for unwanted hair, acne, mild acne scars, wrinkles, and vascular lesions. She also performs sclerotherapy for leg veins and administers cosmetic Botox injections.

Kristin Z. Haushalter, M.D.
Dr. Haushalter attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency in Dermatology in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Haushalter is board certified in dermatology by the American Academy of Dermatology. She has focused her practice in the area of general dermatology, treatment and prevention of skin cancers, as well as inflammatory diseases of the skin and nails. Dr. Haushalter frequently volunteers her time for overseas medical mission trips. Dr. Haushalter is passionate about the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer and frequently participates in skin cancer screenings.

Pamela S. Shoda, N. P.
Pam graduated from the Purdue University Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Pam received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from IPFW and Registered Nursing License in 1991. She received her Master of Science Nursing degree from Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, Indiana and she has a long history of providing nursing care in Fort Wayne at Summit Plastic Surgery, Parkview Hospital and Lutheran Hospital. She has worked in various health care settings including occupational health, critical care, operating room and recovery room.
She is certified in Family Practice through the American Nurses Credentialing Center with additional training in dermatology. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and the Dermatology Nursing Association (DNA). She speaks to youth groups on acne, moles, and the dangers of tanning.
She enjoys reading, watching her son's hockey games, and watching her daughter perform with the Snider High School marching band. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and her two Chihuahuas.

Nicole Helsom, P. A.
Nicole grew up in Fort Wayne and graduated from Homestead High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan while on an athletic scholarship for volleyball. Nicole earned a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has trained and worked with hospice patients and their families. She also Volunteered at Erin's House for Grieving Families in Fort Wayne and ran a support group for children who have lost a loved one. Nicole has helped coach volleyball teams in Michigan and Fort Wayne.
As a Physician Assistant (PA), Nicole is one of over 55,000 medical providers formally trained to practice medicine with physician supervision. Physician assistants have been practicing with dermatologist for over twenty years, providing a wide variety of services, including diagnosing illness, writing prescriptions, ordering and interpreting lab tests, wound suturing, and medical and surgical treatment of a wide variety of clinical pathology. While only 1% of physicians are dermatologists, over 3% of PAs work in dermatology, demonstrating great value in serving patients with skin diseases. All PAs are legally and ethically bound to practice only under the supervision of an employing physician.
